TRIVIA: Dubrovnik’s city walls were built between the 12th and the 17th century. They are almost 2 kilometers long, and 25 meters high. Their width ranges from 1.5 to 6 meters, and there are five main towers. No enemy army has ever been able to penetrate them. Now, that’s what we call quality construction!

Tour description

The early bird catches the worm! We won’t be catching worms though. Actually, we won’t be catching anything for that matter… However, we do recommend starting this for this Dubrovnik early morning tour to start at 8 AM at the latest. Why, you ask? We have a pretty compelling answer: we would like you to truly experience and feel the beat of our beloved city before all those crowds of tourists from the cruise ships arrive, and before the summer heat makes us weary.

WALLED IN, BUT FREE!

After sightseeing the main city attractions, we will take you to see those sights again – but from above! We will climb the symbol of Dubrovnik and its freedom, the famous city walls. We must say though that: every single person on our tours so far has been amazed by the walls, even more once we climbed them! On the one side of the walls you will see the vast open sea, and on the other, you will be rewarded with the spectacular views of the city, its narrow streets and people’s homes.
